Brian is certified by the American Council on Exercise as a Personal Trainer. His career has spanned 30 years, during which he has held roles as General Manager, Fitness Manager, Master Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor. He has developed exercise programming for large gym chains and private facilities and mentored hundreds of personal trainers. As the owner of Training & Discipline, he has a simple mission to recruit exceptional trainers and coaches that deliver safe, effective and fun workouts every single visit!!
Patrick is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He has obtained two undergraduate degrees in Exercise Science and Pedagogy from CSUSB before earning his Master’s degree in Strength & Conditioning and Sport Psychology from Western Illinois University. Patrick has spent the last 20 years working in the fitness industry starting back in 2000 as a personal trainer at 24 Hour Fitness. He would eventually work in the collegiate setting at UCR, UCLA, and finally WIU as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for sports ranging from waterpolo to basketball.
Patrick believes it is not just his job to design and implement programs for his clients, but to help them understand the science and reasoning behind the programming so that they can make more informed decisions in their fitness journey.
Zac is a certified personal trainer with the National Council of Strength and Fitness, holding a collegiate background in Exercise Science and Sport Nutrition. Zac stands as a 500 hr E-RYT and YACEP with Yoga Alliance, alongside a 300 hr advanced training in Yoga Therapy. With over a decade in the fitness realm, his expertise spans personal training, program design, and mentoring fellow fitness professionals. Zac's genuine passion for enhancing clients' strength and empowerment resonates deeply in every interaction, making him an invaluable presence in the fitness and medical industries.
Melissa started her career as a personal trainer in 2011. She is currently certified through National Academy of Sports Medicine and has a diploma in personal training through National Personal Training Institute. She broadened her career by taking classes to be certified in other “toys” such as the TRX and Bosu. She continues to learn and implement new ideas into workouts to keep the body guessing and progressing.
Melissa moved to Palm Springs 5 years ago and loves everything about it! She enjoys the hiking trails in the desert and has been an avid runner for over 20 years. When it comes to her clients, she designs workouts that are specific for their individual goals and abilities. She enjoys getting to know her clients, making the workouts fun, & getting the results the client needs.
I’m Emma Middlebrook, I have close to 25 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. I run a small group fitness studio in Portland OR but have made Palm Springs my home.
I want to bring all of the things I have learned over the years to this amazing community in the desert. I especially love supporting members of the LGBTQA+ family.
Through years of experience and education I've figured out the best methods to help people reach their goals. I was a top trainer at Equinox Fitness and hold the prestigious NSCA-CPT Certification and ACE Health and Wellness Certification. I have a BS in Psychology and an Associates in Occupational Therapy. My specialty is delivering comprehensive workout/lifestyle programs that are scientifically based and tailored exclusively for you. My system is proven to get results every time and is not only incredibly effective, but enjoyable and fulfilling. I want to give my clients the tools they need to create a healthier lifestyle.
